*1963 in Russia. In the early 90s, Alexander started his career working on the animation film studio Pilot (Moscow) and illustrated books in various publishing houses.

Since then, Alexander wrote a number of articles on modern art and films in Russian magazines, such as OM, Ptuch, Premier, Harpers Bazaar and many more. His comics were published throughout England, Germany, Japan and Russia.

Alexander Pavlenko held exhibitions in Germany, France, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland and Russia.

Alexander Pavlenko cooperates with the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, illustrates books and graphic novels and engages in video art.
